Friendly and helpful staff, cozy reception, clean facilities, excellent Wi-Fi, great location. The small bar/restaurant offers delicious snacks and the best acai in town, making it a convenient place to stay.

I got fantastic value for my money with a super comfortable semi-private room. The location was perfect, and the staff were pretty good too make my stay enjoyable.

The breakfast selection could use more variety to enhance the meal experience.

We enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, making it a comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring.

We loved the rooftop terrace at Joy Hostel; it was perfect for relaxing with a coffee. The kitchen was handy for self-catering, though a bit cramped in the basement area. I'd definitely recommend this hostel!

I had a blast ringing in the New Year! The location was super convenient-right near all the main attractions. The friendly staff really made my stay more enjoyable, too. The restaurant downstairs served some amazing food, and the whole vibe was perfect for my holiday celebrations.

But, man, the kitchen and lounge were a total bummer! Being in a basement with no natural light makes it pretty dull and uninviting for hanging out. Plus, the prices were pretty high for what you get; I had to pay extra for basics like towels and had no space for my luggage in the room. It was definitely not the space I was hoping for!

I stayed for a week at a fantastic hostel while I was in town for some meetings and to explore the local culture. The place was impressively clean, and the staff was friendly. The Wi-Fi connection was excellent, which made working remotely a breeze. I loved the laid-back atmosphere and the convenience of having a bar/restaurant on-site that served delicious sandwiches and the best acai in town. Plus, the strategic location allowed me to easily walk to key attractions.

I can’t say anything bad about Joy Hostel & Suites! The staff is always cheerful and eager to help, making our stay with a 15-month-old enjoyable. The café, terrace, and kitchen facilities with filtered water were perfect for our needs. We loved the young, chill atmosphere, plus the strategic location made exploring landmarks a breeze. Highly recommend a stay here!
